Full title: 'One man holds the drill. Two men alternate hitting it with hammers. Between blows the man holding the drill gives it a quarter turn. In this way they shape the rock. The process is long, arduous, and hazardous. And yet, when the one-man mechanical drill is introduced, there are angry workers' protests. Why?

Because now each man works alone.'
